The merger between NEC Electronics and Renesas Technology has created one of the world's broadest microcontroller portfolios, ranging from small low-power 4-bit devices to high performance 32-bit devices. Nearly all of these devices are supported in IAR Embedded Workbench.

Both new and existing customers can benefit from the flexibility in microcontroller choice and convenience by using the same familiar tools for different projects.
