Video Speed Class 30 microSDXC cards unveiled at MWC
Three new additions have been added to Toshiba Memory Europe's EXCERIA family of microSDXC cards, named M303. With capacities of up to 256GB, maximum read/write speeds of 98 and 65MB/s respectively, as well as a new Video Speed Class 30 (V30), the M303 allows users to record and store 4K Ultra HD content.
Low power and fully compliant USB-C 1.3 devices
In order to enable easy integration into USB-C systems, ON Semiconductor has announced the latest set of USB-C (Type-C) devices that are fully compliant with the latest revision 1.3 specification. The new devices include two controllers and a switch, all of which are aimed at applications such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops, as well as industrial and automotive use cases.
8Gb components support DDR3L low-voltage operation
Hong Kong based fabless DRAM manufacturer, I'M Intelligent Memory, has announced the availability its newest revisions of 8 Gigabit DDR3L components. Orderable devices include x8 (1Gx8) configurations in FBGA 78 ball package and x16 (512Mx16) types in FBGA 96 ball package. Customers can choose the devices to have either a single Chip-Select (1CS) or dual Chip-Select (2CS) pinout.

The SSD 860 range of solid-state drives (SSDs) from Samsung are in stock at RS Components. Based on the manufacturer's 3D Vertical NAND (V-NAND) multi-level-cell (MLC) flash-memory technology, the 860 range improves on Samsung's SSD 850 range of SSDs to deliver enhanced speed, reliability and capacity for users.
