Arduino Pro Portenta C33 SBC available now from Farnell
Farnell announces the addition of the newly launched Arduino Pro Portenta C33 system on module (SOM) to its line card.
This cost-effective, high-performance, streamlined platform provides an accelerated route to IoT automation, complete with industrial-grade quality and guaranteed security state the company.
The Portenta C33 offers high performance at a lower price point. This is made possible by a range of optimisations and streamlined features which enables it to be a prime choice for developing industrial, real-time applications. The Portenta C33 features the Arm Cortex-M33 microcontroller from global specialist Renesas and supports MicroPython, as well as other high-level programming languages.
With onboard Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity, the Portenta C33 is the ideal solution for IoT gateways, remote control systems, fleet management, and process tracking, while its secure element offers industrial-grade security at the hardware level. The Portenta C33 can also perform over-the-air firmware updates via Arduino Cloud or other third-party cloud hosting services.
