Würth Elektronik has introduced the WE-OEFA-LFS ferrite, an oval-shaped ferrite ring specifically designed to suppress low-frequency interference.

Its distinctive oval design makes it particularly easy to fit over busbars, providing an effective solution for interference suppression. Made from MnZn core material, this ferrite is ideally suited for managing low-frequency interference, particularly in electric vehicles.

The WE-OEFA-LFS is AEC-Q200 certified and operates within a temperature range of -40 to 105°C. Designed for high-current applications, it covers a frequency range of 1 to 100MHz, making it suitable for suppressing electromagnetic interference in a variety of systems such as battery management, inverters, on-board chargers, and cable harnesses.

The ferrite measures 15.6 × 65.4 × 35.4 mm and can accommodate busbars or cables measuring up to 43 × 13mm. The WE-OEFA-LFS is available from stock, with free samples offered to developers for testing.
