It has been announced Tektronix, that they are adding IQFlow functionality to their RSA7100A wideband signal analysis solution. This enhancement delivers the speed and flexibility needed to perform real time digital signal processing (DSP) and support hardware in the loop (HWIL or HIL) test for radar and electronic warfare (EW) systems.

The RSA7100A's real time analysis for live monitoring of recording events allows systems engineers to ensure they are getting the data they need from their time consuming test scenarios. With new streaming APIs and interfaces, including support for 40 GbE and LVDS, the analyser offers the performance and ready-to-go convenience that system engineers need to move forward with their next-gen designs.

Jon Baldwin, vice president and general manager, Wideband Solutions Business Unit at Tektronix, stated: "The RSA7100A with IQFlow leads the market as a comprehensive solution that can quickly and easily be dropped into a wide range of test scenarios. IQFlow gives our customers the flexibility to process their own DSP algorithms in real time using our front-end system. They are not limited to working only with the instrument vendors' analysis results."

The RSA7100A is a wide bandwidth streaming real time spectrum analysis currently available on the market. The DPX spectrum/spectrogram display provides 100% probability of intercept of up to 419ns signals in an 800MHz span. The analyser has a frequency range of 16kHz to 26.5GHz, which covers a broad range of analysis needs, including radar and spectrum management applications.
