RF inductors meet MIL-PRF-15305 military requirement

Expanding the company’s Qualified Products List offering, Gowanda Electronics has recently achieved military approval for four thru-hole RF inductor series. The MLRF10M, MLRF15M, MLRF18M and MLRF17S series all meet the military’s Qualified Product List requirement for military spec MIL-PRF-15305.

Designed for radio frequency applications in military, aerospace and defence, the wirewound molded thru-hole RF inductors suit communication, guidance, security, radar, test & evaluation and special mission applications.

MLRF10M is available with three different cores featuring MIL-PRF-15305 approval for Military Part Numbers MS75083 (Phenolic core), MS75084 (Iron core), and MS75085 (Ferrite core). MS75083 has an operating temperature range from -55 to +125°C, while MS75084 and MS75085 have operating temperature ranges from -55 to +105°C. The MLRF10M RF inductors provide inductance from 0.10-1000µH, minimum Q of 25-55, minimum SRF of 3.40-680MHz, maximum DC resistance of 0.08-72Ω and DC current rating of 28-1350mA.

MLRF15M is available with three different cores featuring MIL-PRF-15305 approval for Military Part Numbers MS18130 (Phenolic core), MS14046 (Iron core), and MS90538 (Iron core). MS18130 has an operating temperature range from -55 to +125°C, while MS14046 and MS90538 have operating temperature ranges from -55 to +105°C. The MLRF15M RF inductors offer inductance from 0.15-240µH, minimum Q of 33-75, minimum SRF of 5.9-525MHz, maximum DC resistance of 0.03-7.80Ω and DC current rating of 101-2450mA.

MLRF18M is available with two different cores featuring MIL-PRF-15305 approval for Military Part Numbers MS75008 (Phenolic core) and MS75101 (Iron core). MS75008 has an operating temperature range from -55 to +125°C, while MS75101 has an operating temperature range from -55 to +105°C. The MLRF18M RF inductors feature inductance from 0.15-24µH, minimum Q of 30-65, minimum SRF of 22-510MHz, maximum DC resistance of 0.03-2.75Ω and DC current rating of 205-3000mA.

MLRF17S is available with three different cores featuring MIL-PRF-15305 approval for Military Part Numbers MS75087 (Phenolic core/Iron shield), MS75088 (Iron core/Iron shield) and MS75089 (Ferrite core/Ferrite shield). MS75087, MS75088 and MS75089 have operating temperature ranges from -55 to +105°C.The MLRF17S RF inductors deliver inductance from 0.10-1000µH, minimum Q of 40-60, minimum SRF of 3.8-250MHz, maximum DC resistance of 0.025-17.5Ω and DC current rating of 70-1790mA.
