Pasternack Enterprises announce a brand new line of RF tappers. These low loss power tappers (also known as Signal Tappers, Signal Samplers, Equal/Unequal Power Splitters or Dividers) are used to either evenly or unevenly sample or split RF signals in LTE, Tetra, Private Mobile Radio, UMTS or WiFi systems for in-building and outdoor distributed antenna system applications.

Pasternack is offering three designs of RF tappers including 2-way, 3-way and 4-way body styles and are available with Type-N or 7/16 DIN connectors. Equal and unequal split tappers utilize a ruggedized sealed construction, using an air dielectric structure without solder joints and have connectors with O-rings for IP65/67 required installations. Unequal signal tappers from Pasternack are available in a variety of split ratios from2:1 to 1000:1 (4.8dB to 30dB) and operate from 376 MHz to 6 GHz. The company’s equal splittappers provide excellent performance across wireless bands from 376 MHz to 2.7 GHz, making them an ideal solution for in-building DAS.

The new RF power tappers from Pasternack permit continuous direct current through the main line while passing RF power with minimal ripple and insertion loss. Pasternack’s low PIM signal tappers have a max power rating up to 700 Watts and are designed to assist in cell phone and radio installations operating in frequency bands such as LTE, Tetra, PMR and WiFi in emerging wireless markets. These new RF power dividers are IP65 / IP67 and RoHS compliant.

“Our new line of RF Tappers support DAS, which are being installed worldwide to address the growing demand for wireless connectivity,” commented Gerry Camacho, VP of Technical Marketing at Pasternack Enterprises.

The new RF tappers from Pasternack are in-stock and available now.
