Laird Technologies Releases New High Power LT1110 900 MHz Wireless Module
Laird Technologies, Inc. has announced the release of its new High Power LT1110 900 MHz wireless module. The new High Power LT1110 900 MHz wireless module sets yet another standard for industrial RF communication. Based on proprietary FlexRF technology, this module offers more than forty times the output power of the current low power LT1110.
EmbeThe new module features a higher output power, up to 24 dBM conducted, in the same small surface mount or pluggable form factor as the original LT1110. It also includes an integrated antenna or U.FL for an external antenna. Easy-to-use with a quick time to integrate, the LT1110 provides simple wireless communications for point-to-point and point-to-multipoint networks.
“The new High Power LT1110 900 MHz wireless module builds on Laird Technologies’ family of Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum radios, including the AC4490, LT4424 and LT2510,” said Chris Downey, Laird Technologies Product Manager, Telematics & Wireless M2M. “Enabling long-range wireless communications for point-to-point and point-to-multipoint networks, it is priced competitively or lower than that of the competition.”
While the new High Power LT1110 offers greater transmit power than the previous Low Power LT1110 version, the same low power sleep modes are available, making the module an ideal product solution for the M2M market segment, particularly sensors and handheld data loggers.
