Morgan Ceramics launches new high power RF capacitor range
Morgan Technical Ceramics has extended its product portfolio with the launch of a series of high power radio frequency capacitors, which minimise the impact of temperature upon their performance. Morgan Technical Ceramics releases the K36 and K77 dielectric materials.
ManuThe capacitors are non-magnetic and are therefore suitable for use in applications with high magnetic fields, and demonstrate low electrical loss, which allows for high RF reactive power load rating. Manufactured in accordance with the Quality Assurance standard ISO 9001, the devices also have a high dielectric strength to give increased capacitance capabilities.
Paul Turnbull, business manager for Morgan Technical Ceramics, Ruabon, commented: “The new high power RF devices are a welcome addition to our portfolio of capacitors – with unrivalled temperature stability, they allow engineers to design electrical systems that require less compensation circuitry in high quality applications – a real breakthrough for the market. We are confident that our range of high power RF capacitors will be well received by the marketplace, thanks to our commitment to innovative design, the use of high quality materials and flexible production capabilities.”
Morgan Technical Ceramics has the ability to manufacture large volumes of the new high power RF capacitors in a variety of forms including; discs, small shells or tubes, and large tubular shapes. Different connection types are available. Requests for custom made parts may also be accommodated.
