BroadWave developes new power divider
BroadWave Technologies developed a 50 Ohm UF band power divider to support applications including commercial wireless communications, defence, homeland security, and public safety systems.
The new power divider, model 151-308-008 is an 8 way power divider with SMA female connectors. This device operates from 500 to 3000MHz and exhibits typical isolation of 25dB. Nominal insertion loss above theoretical split at 3000MHz is 1.5dB and maximum VSWR is 1.50:1 In addition to power dividers with SMA female connectors the company also offers power divider with BNC, N, and TNC connectors.
This news follows the company's announcement of its inner DC block; model 859-173-BLK is a 50 Ω inner DC block with an operating frequency range of 10 to 2500MHz and exhibits 1.50:1 maximum VSWR. Insertion loss is 0.4dB maximum, and the maximum blocking voltage is 100Vdc. The RF connector configuration is N male / BNC female. DC blocks allow RF to pass through the unit but does not allow DC to pass through the unit.
