Kangaroo Media Launch LifeSize Touch
Kangaroo Media has launched LifeSize Touch, an innovative range of large format touch screens; the bespoke display product has been in development for over 18 months and will debut for the first time at the RenewableUK Offshore Wind 2011 exhibition, being held on 29th and 30th June at ACC Liverpool.
A 70 inch touch screen display will be installed as an interactive presentation tool for Osiris Marine Services, allowing the business to showcase its offshore windfarm project experience, personnel skills and equipment in stunning CGI, video and animation.
The LifeSize Touch® is a complete interactive display package which includes not only the hardware, but a proprietary content interface developed by Kangaroo Media, called Maps, Apps & Games®. This means that businesses can hook into their existing apps, web apps or social media accounts as part of their content strategy, thereby gaining more usage of their digital media budgets.
Sheena Mackenzie, Managing Director at Kangaroo Media said:
“We have been developing the LifeSize Touch® products and technology for over 18 months now and we are very pleased with the results. The beauty with LifeSize Touch® is how adaptable it is, you can change your message with ease, using exciting, interactive, media rich content depending on what you want to share with your customers. LifeSize Touch® has been likened to a giant tablet PC in look and interface usage and if someone had an existing smart phone or tablet app we can easily incorporate this into a LifeSize Touch® screen solution.”
Aiden West, Managing Director at Osiris Marine Services said:
“The offshore wind industry is highly competitive and the trade exhibitions are a vital opportunity for us to connect with potential and existing clients, we need to stay one step ahead of the game all the time. LifeSize Touch® is an amazing product and has taken our marketing communications to another level; now that we have invested in the technology we can easily adapt the content and tailor it to future exhibitions, which is transforming the way we interact with our clients.”
Sheena finished:
“The product has so many applications, trade exhibitions are just one. We are also in discussions with major high street retailers regarding the use of our giant touch screens inside their shop windows to replace old media like printed posters. Our screens range in size from 40” to 120”, so the ability to make an impact on the high street is profound. The possibilities in retail are amazing because we can create an entirely new customer experience with real-time social media engagement and live hooks into their web database content. Customers can use our giant touch screens to browse, order, and book or download money off coupons; we have a very powerful digital display solution that is easily transferable to any industry.”
