IP65 backlit metal keyboards for kiosk and industrial applications from ITAC
ITAC has today introduced a new family of backlit, rugged metal keyboards for kiosk and demanding industrial applications. The keyboards each have 65 laser-etched keys (black, grey or sliver), individually lit by LEDs (blue, green or red), and an integral touchpad.
The When properly mounted, the whole assembly is rated to IP65, making it dust-proof and liquid-proof, and its robust construction provides high tolerance against vandalism.
Designated the ITMKB-64A-TP-BLS series, the keyboards come with PS/2 or USB interfaces, operate from a single +5V supply and draw 20mA current. They meet relevant international safety and EMC requirements and are CE compliant.
Custom layouts are available to meet the requirements of individual applications.
