High display quality in any size from DISPLAY SYSTEMS

With a screen diagonal of just 0.96” (approx. 2.5 cm), the new TFT009-81BINN micro colour display is the ideal solution for compact handheld devices of all kinds.
Despite its small dimensions, the display module has a resolution of 12,800 pixels. The IPS technology also ensures excellent readability, also at the most unfavourable of viewing angles.
With sophisticated display technology such as IPS (In-Plane-Switching) and AACS (All-Angle Colour Stability Management), the TFT009-81BINN with integrated graphics controller offers a high-quality display: IPS ensures a consistently high contrast regardless of the viewing angle, while AACS keeps the colour presentation constant, also under changing viewing angles. This means that this small display can be used in both portrait and landscape mode without compromising the picture quality. The white LED backlight achieves a brightness of up to 500 cd/m2. As a result, the display always provides an excellent picture - also in unfavourable and/or poor lighting conditions.
For connectivity to the outside world, DISPLAY VISIONS has integrated an SPI interface via which the µC communicates with just four or three lines. This dramatically reduces the number of connections required for the display. The TFT009-81BITC version, which is equipped with a PCAP touch panel, is also optionally available. This has an I2C interface for the interpretation of the input commands. Both the touch panel and display are connected via a ZIF connector.
