TCL has implemented its proprietary UHD Micro Dimming functionality into both models, which analyses video content in 200 separate zones to adjust bright and dark areas independently. The new summer 2018 models offer a wealth of online applications. VOD services, catch-up options and more. Freeview Play is pre-installed – providing programming from BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4, Demand 5 and UKTV Play alongside 70 TV channels and 15HD channels. A unique user interface lets viewers stream beautiful, 4K entertainment straight from the Internet or a home network using the built-in WiFi connectivity. The UI also allows users to view network content and personal content alongside conventional digital broadcasts

The DP648 features Dolby Audio processing for improved high-quality audio; creating an immersive experience with clear vocals and a wide range of sound by combining a variety of Dolby cinema technologies to provide a richer, room filling experience.
