AAEON Presents A New Fanless Multi-Touch Panel Solution-- ACP-5152

he ACP-5152 supports the Onboard Intel® Dual Core Atom™ D510 Processor with a DDR2 SODIMM (up to 2GB) and offers an integrated LCD/CRT Controller in the processor. This particular model supports various I/O ports to satisfy the diverse expansions, including one RS-232, six USB 2.0 (2 on side and 4 on rear), one Line-out, and one VGA port. Furthermore, this model deploys a 2.5' SATA Hard Disk Drive and an internal CompactFlash™ Slot for providing ample storage. Two Mini Card Slots have been added to enrich the specifications of the ACP-5152 to offer flexible expansion.

The key feature of the ACP series is the multi-touch touch screen. This series has the top projected capacitive touch screen. The ACP-5152 is not an exception and has the ability to add many features, such as barcode readers, scanners, and magnetic slot readers. The Water-Proof Protection design keeps the PC water and dust free, furthering the longevity of the model, stated Alex Hsueh, Senior Product Manager of AAEON Panel Appliance & Automation Division. The ACP-5152 multi-touch screen is easy to operate and offers an Anti-Scratch 7H Surface that provides a long lifecycle and protection for the touch screen. The ACP-5152 has been designed for presenting new information/media in kiosks to interact with customers. At only 56mm thick, this model is convenient to place into environments that are limited in space. The ACP-5152 is an ideal unit for public access PCs, such as store pricing information, self check-in kiosks and virtual displays.
