SEGGER's stand-alone Floating-Point Library has now been extended to include an assembly-optimised variant for RISC-V implementations. The library contains a complete set of high level mathematical functions that have been written in C, and uses advanced algorithms to maximise performance levels.

The Calibre LEDFusion A160, a 163-inch AiO (All-in-One) LED display has made it’s debut at the MediaScreen stand (15-R295) at ISE2020. The LEDFusion A160 revolutionises the world of large LED screens by providing a complete, integrated solution that can be installed by two people in an hour or less, largely eliminating the time, effort and expense typically associated with deploying screens of such a size. 

The new DLD7502-L 75” display panel from Litemax part of their Durapixel series, has been designed for the industrial market sector. Featuring high brightness of 4500 cd/m², with a resolution of 3840x2160 and the LED backlight technology ensures high reliability with low power consumption. 

STMicroelectronics and Fieldscale, an ST Authorised Partner and provider of simulation software, have joined forces to simplify development of touch-enabled user interfaces for smart devices containing ST’s STM32 microcontrollers (MCUs).

Researchers have developed an ultra-thin and ultra-flexible electronic material that could be printed and rolled out like newspaper, for the touchscreens of the future. The touch-responsive technology is 100 times thinner than existing touchscreen materials and so pliable it can be rolled up like a tube.

Industrial LCD manufacturer, KOE (Kaohsiung Opto Electronics), has announced an expansion of their range of LCD display modules with projected capacitive (PCap) and Pixel Eyes in-cell capacitive touchscreens. Screen-sizes range from 6.3 to 12.3”.

A new addition to Display Technology from Litemax, is the new SCD2365-Y, a circle display that has a MTBF of 100,000 hours and a high brightness of 1000 cd/m². The 23.6” Circle PC display offers sunlight readable viewing with power efficiency LED backlight, the circle display would suit digital signage, retail and vending applications.

Pervasive Displays (PDi) has announced the introduction of the E24581JS084 5.8” and E2969JS084 9.7” tri-colour Electronic Paper Display (EPD) modules offering high bi-stable image resolution of 134 and 121dpi respectively. Along with their high resolution, low power operation and fast update cycle, the displays also feature integrated timing controllers.

Display Technology have announced their sister company Distec have launched their new range of monitors the BLO series, the new range are certified to DIN EN 13501-1 safety standards and come in sizes 24” to 65” with a touchscreen option. The monitors are fitted with sturdy sheet steel housing and fire protection glass.
