Hitachi has announced the introduction of two cost effective 5.7in TFT display modules. The newly designed 5.7in TX14D16VM1CBC and TX14D17VM1BAB display modules feature QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) and VGA (640 x 480 pixels) resolution respectively and join the existing range of compact 5.7in Hitachi TFT LCD display modules.

demmel products has expanded its product portfolio of intelligent LCD panels with a new 4.3in iLC. The range of panels available is from 3.5 to 10.2in and consists of five different color iLCDs. All models have the same set of commands and electrical connections. If necessary, iLCDs of different sizes can easily be exchanged without modifying the hard- or software of the controlling application.

NEC LCD Technologies has introduced two new amorphous-silicon thin-film-transistor (TFT) liquid crystal display (LCD) modules incorporating white LED backlights for industrial applications. The modules consume less power, are substantially thinner and lighter than comparable LCD modules incorporating cold-cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL) backlights.
