New industrial videoposter for professional signage applications introduced by Display Technology

Designed and manufactured in Germany, the 23 media player is the next generation of videoposter offering a high quality and a sophisticated design with all the existing benefits included such as, operation in landscape and portrait mode, PC-less technology with no Windows OS installation, native resolution displayed without reduction of quality through scaling, and updating of playlists with push (ACC) or pull technology (FTP server access).

Video formats supported include MPEG4, DIVX, MOV, WMV and AVI and still images include pdf, bmp, gif, aib, jpeg, pbm, tiff amongst others. Files can be created easily by using ACC, a software tool designed for supporting the distribution of playlists via Ethernet or manually by USB memory drive. The latest new addition to ACC is scheduling. A playlist that contains a schedule will automatically start playing or switch off at any given time. A real time clock is on board allowing the user to create several playlists as sub-playlists and this will then assign a time when the content can be played.

The video poster also features power saving functions due to the intelligent choice of components, free maintenance with no expensive investments in software licences for each display, and no recurring annual costs for software support and updates

Optional features include a choice of RAL colours, 3mm toughened safety glass, a full range of desk and wall mount accessories and multiple functionalities via customised firmware.
