Zoran Selects EVE’s ZeBu Emulation Platform
Zoran Corporation has selected the ZeBu emulation platform from EVE, the leader in hardware/software co-verification, for the verification of its high-performance, multi-function peripheral system-on-chip (SoC) designs.
ZeBuStates Mark Busa, director of ASIC Engineering: “Our design team’s observation from our evaluation and in the work to date is that the ZeBu-Server debug environment, in particular features like CSA, made the simulation waveform/resimulation flow effortless. This is critical for debugging the multiple cores and memories making up our complex imaging pipelines.”
EVE introduced today design debugging capabilities for its ZeBu emulation platform called Combinational Signal Access (CSA) that enable users to generate complete waveforms of their design. (See news release with January 25 breakdate titled, “EVE Enhances Emulation Platform with Superior Debugging Capabilities.”)
“With the introduction of CSA, we are able to generate waveforms for any net, register and memory in the design with unlimited trace depth without embedding instrumentation or recompiling the design,” remarks Dr. Luc Burgun, EVE’s chief executive officer and president. “ZeBu sets the standard for debugging of advanced SoC designs without compromising its well-established reputation for the fastest execution, largest capacity and lowest cost of ownership.”
