QuickLogic has launched a new website that will help mobile electronics product development teams to bring designs to market more quickly, and with lower risk. The site details QuickLogic's capability in Customer Specific Standard Product (CSSP) technologies and platforms.
CSSPs combine the proven functionality of application specific standard products (ASSPs), with the customer specific functionality of ASICs, to address key challenges facing mobile electronics developers. The CSSP approach delivers solutions that meet the integration and customisation requirements within days rather than months or years.

The site includes sections organised by both portable applications and products, providing users with a variety of usage models and block diagrams showing how CSSP solves fundamental challenges being experienced in the fast moving mobile market. Technologies covered include storage, video and imaging, wireless networks, wired networks, and security/content protection. Specific mobile product categories covered include smartphones, enterprise PDAs, personal media players, portable navigation devices, wireless data cards, and ultra mobile PCs/UMDs.
