µWave Wizard revamp gets EuMW premiere
Mician of Bremen, Germany has released an entirely revamped version of its powerful µWave Wizard design suite.
µWave Wizard is designed specifically for microwave circuit and antenna simulation. It enables engineers and researchers to accurately analyse and optimise their designs, leading to faster development cycles and superior performance. The latest version comes with significant enhancements to both the user interface (UI) and the simulation core, providing a more intuitive and efficient experience.
The all-new UI features flexible dockable windows for effortless arrangement of schematic editors, project editors, plot windows, and dialogs. It offers the ability to place plots and schematic editor windows side by side, allowing users to easily analyse and compare various designs.
The modernised schematic editor boasts enhanced routing capabilities, ensuring smoother and more efficient design workflows. The majority of library element icons now features 3D representations of discontinuities, providing a more realistic view of your designs. Additionally, the modeler icons accurately depict the real-life structure, enabling visually more appealing circuit composition.
With the new version users will no longer need to wait for all circuits to load while opening a project. Thanks to an optimised loading process, users will experience lightning-fast project loading times of complex circuits resulting in immediate access to their projects.
Faster field calculation, S-matrix combination, and FEM matrix assembly, result in improved simulation performance and reduced computation time.
The parallel direct 2D Body of Revolution FEM solver, a new available feature, significantly accelerates simulation of symmetric structures, with improved accuracy compared to 3D FEM, while using less computational resources.
µWave Wizard’s building block library has been enhanced once more. The new pre-built elements offer increased flexibility, enabling faster and more comprehensive design development.
Mician will showcase the new release at stand 429 at EuMW 2023 in Berlin.
