Tool support for Energy Micro’s most energy-efficient Cortex-M3-based microcontrollers
Hitex offers complete debug support for the ARM Cortex-M3-based EFM32-Gecko family, the world’s most energy-efficient microcontrollers introduced by Energy Micro.
HiteThe compact JTAG-debugger „Tantino for Cortex“ supports EFM32’s 2-pin Serial Wire Debug (SWD) and offers the complete run-control functionality such as breakpoints, watchpoints and single-step.
As all Hitex systems the Tantino runs with HiTOP, the universal development environment featuring flash programming, update on running and exception assistant. Cortex’ Serial Wire Viewer functionality provides additional debug features such as data trace, semi hosting and performance analysis.
Thanks to open interfaces, additional tools can be easily integrated into HiTOP, such as the
GNU Cortex Compiler optimized for Cortex. In addition, Hitex also offers RTOS support and a range of portable protocol stacks adapted to the Cortex characteristics.
