Inforce Computing To Launch Quad Core Development Platform SYS6440 For Embedded Applications
Inforce Computing today announced the launch of the SYS6440 development kit, which runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 processor from Qualcomm Technologies. Ideal for quickly developing media rich applications such as video conferencing, thin clients, digital signage, audio processing, industrial, medical applications, and video surveillance, the SYS6440 development kit is available off-the-shelf from Inforce, and is supported by real-time OEM development support plans.
BaseThe SYS6440 development kit is also designed to maximize the rich multimedia features of the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 ProAPQ8064 processor and its quad-core CPU architecture, and is available with Android and Embedded Linux operating system support packages.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 processor offers the latest CPU architecture and includes128-bit FPU, optimized to deliver industry-leading performance to power ratio. The APQ8064 processor’s four cores are dynamically scalable for voltage and frequencies, and are enhanced further by the integrated dedicated DSP and sensor hub subsystem. With a comprehensive suite of integrated features, the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 processor will help enable a diverse set of media-rich, smart embedded applications in extremely low-footprints.
