Strategic Test cuts prices for XScale PXA320 and PXA270 Development Kits
Strategic Test, a world-leading supplier of Marvel XScale PXA320, PXA270 and PXA255 Development Kits and System-On-Modules has announced dramatic price reductions of up to 50% on its PXA320 and PXA270 Development Kits. In addition the Kits will be supplied with the in-house developed BSP’s for Microsoft Windows CE and Linux at no extra cost. The special offer runs from October 1 until December 31, 2007.
“WThe PXA320-based TRITON Development Kit-4 and SOM started shipping in April, 2007 a week after the PXA320 chips became available. While the PXA270-based Kit-3 and SOM has been shipping since October 2004, some 6 months ahead of any competitor. Both Kits have received numerous software enhancements that are supplied free-of-charge by customer download.
Strategic Test also claims that unlike the majority of it’s competitors, its Windows CE 5.0, 6.0 and Linux 2.6 Binary Support Packages (BSP’s) have been developed in-house.
Users of the TRITON Development Kits include Apple, ATI Technologies, Microsoft, DoD Australia, DoD Portugal, DoE, FIAT, Freescale, General Dynamics, Motorola, NAWCAD, Phillips, Ricoh, SAIC, Securitas, ST Electronics, Thales, Trimble, US Army Research, Vetronix (Bosch), Volkswagen and many mid-sized companies and universities.
