Atrenta Ships 5.0 Release of SpyGlass Platform
Atrenta announced today the 5.0 release of its SpyGlass RTL analysis and optimization platform. This is also the first unified release of the SpyGlass and GenSys platforms. The release contains extensive enhancements for performance, accuracy and usability, and many are the direct result of customer feedback.
As pOther features of the 5.0 release include enhanced Tcl support, improved quality of results for clock domain crossing (CDC) analysis, enhanced power estimation accuracy, sign-off level checks for power verification and improved register and memory power reduction. Both the speed and accuracy of testability analysis have been improved, as well as the performance of physical routing congestion analysis. RTL physical analysis has also been extended for better support of advanced technology nodes. A limited release version of an RTL 3D IC planning tool is also included. Atrenta is developing this technology with a select group of customers.
Enhancements to the GenSys platform include more flexible logical/physical port mapping, several improvements to the Autoconnect feature, and an enhanced RTL Health Check Report.
