Green Hills Software offers a unique solution to this single core ARM Cortex-A15 architecture, including INTEGRITY Multivisor virtualization technology, the INTEGRITY safety-certified separation kernel, MULTI multicore debugger, a rich suite of middleware and the Green Hills family of JTAG probes. The newest member of the ‘Jacinto 6’ platform, the DRA72x SoC delivers feature-rich, in-vehicle infotainment and telematics features to the next generation of entry- to mid-level cars.

“Green Hills INTEGRITY solutions for the TI ‘Jacinto 6 Eco’ DRA72x processor naturally illustrates the platform’s scalability achieved across the entire ‘Jacinto 6’ family,” said Matt Watson, product manager, Infotainment Processors at Texas Instruments. “We’re pleased to see our technology partner Green Hills continue to innovate on TI platforms and to enable our customers to both widen their feature sets and accelerate their time-to-market.”

Green Hills Software offers a comprehensive solution for ‘Jacinto 6’ devices that include the following major components:
• INTEGRITY Multivisor combines a trusted microkernel with system virtualization technology into an IVI platform featuring configurable software partitions, real-time and safety-critical processing, and one or more infotainment guest operating systems
• INTEGRITY separation kernel for applications demanding safety, reliability and security
• MULTI integrated software development environment featuring multicore debugger, profiler and many other integrated time-saving tools
• Software and services compliant to the highest levels of automotive and industrial safety standards including ISO 26262, IEC 61508 and EN 50128
• EEMBC-certified C/C++ compilers for the ‘Jacinto 6’ Cortex-A15 cores that outperform competing compilers by as much as 30-35%
• Code quality tools including MISRA C/C++ and DoubleCheck static analyzer
• Green Hills probe for hardware bring-up and low-level debugging and development

“Green Hills is excited to extend our support to the newest of the highly scalable ‘Jacinto 6’ SoC family,” said Dan Mender, vice president of business development at Green Hills Software. “When combined with Green Hills Software solutions, the new DRA72x processor provides manufacturers a way to seamlessly scale their product investments while delivering a diverse portfolio of platforms with configurable software and hardware compatibility based on the broadest array of ARM Cortex-A15 devices.”
