Scintera Networks Engages with Freescale for Low Power Small Cell RF Technology

The engagement provides Freescale and their customers with preferred access to Scintera’s RFPAL products.



As small cell deployments rise worldwide to help support exponential increases in worldwide IP traffic, system power requirements have grown dramatically stringent. Scintera’s innovative RFPAL technology handles pre-distortion tasks with an analog solution, which consumes substantially less power than digital pre-distortion solutions. Due to the higher power efficiency, RFPAL enables small cell wireless infrastructure equipment to operate within extremely aggressive power envelopes, ultimately allowing networking equipment to operate at a fraction of the power of current generation systems.
