Renesas And Micrium Announce Free Software Packages For RX MCU Designs
Renesas has teamed up with its software alliance partner Micrium to offer an innovative software support programme to European customers. Customers who are planning to use the 32-bit RX microcontroller family in their designs can qualify for a free-of-charge commercial software package by Micrium up to the value of 20,000 euros. This innovation support programme adds maximum value to the RX MCU range, providing qualifying customers with free development boards and free market-leading software.

Micrium has worked closely with Renesas to create a series of ready-to-evaluate projects on multiple RX platforms such as the RX210, RX62N, RX63N, RX630, etc. These allow customers to quickly create end products by starting with pre-tested infrastructure software components.

Qualifying RX customers will be able to access these commercial software packages free of charge.
