Cadia Networks Announce New Ruggedized NUC Embedded Systems With Intel Core i3 CPU
Cadia Networks announce a new family of conduction cooled/fanless embedded systems based on Intel’s Next Unit of Computing motherboards; the RoughNUC. The RoughNUC repurposes Intel’s NUC into the embedded market with conduction cooled cases, industrial temperature range memory devices, and expansion options for traditional and application specific embedded I/O modules.
RougAll RoughNUC configurations share dual independent high performance graphics either through HDMI or Thunderbolt interfaces. These systems feature two SO-DIMM sockets for expandability up to 16GB of memory, two Mini PCIe sites for flexible support of I/O expansion and SSD configurations, BIOS vault technology, fast boot and the Intel Visual BIOS. RoughNUC systems also support Intel “Anti-Theft” Technology providing hardware intelligence designed to protect your system and its data if lost or stolen.
RoughNUC embedded systems are ideal for compute and data collection engines for M2M Intelligent gateways, kiosks, digital signage, and intelligent systems for small embedded spaces, or rugged environments.
