Review Display Systems (RDS) has introduced two new COM-HPC modules from prominent embedded computing solutions provider, AAEON.

The HPC-RPSC and HPC-ADSC modules support Intel Core processors of the 12th and 13th generations and are crafted to deliver robust embedded computing performance for demanding applications. The HPC-RPSC module accommodates over 10 PCIe devices, features comprehensive high-speed I/O, and provides expandable SSD-based storage.

The HPC-RPSC supports CPUs with up to 24 cores and 32 threads, allowing it to handle complex parallel simulations, analyse testing data using inference modelling, and optimise clock speeds for efficient task execution through Intel Turbo Boost Technology. It includes up to 64GB of DDR5 SODIMM memory and both PEG 5.0 and PCIe 4.0 slots, enabling it to manage large datasets and integrate specialised hardware such as high-speed data acquisition or test and analysis equipment.

The HPC-RPSC offers extensive expansion capabilities, including a PEG 5.0 slot for advanced GPU integration, three PCIe 4.0 slots, and eight PCIe 3.0 slots. Dual 2.5GbE Intel I226-LM Ethernet ports ensure high bandwidth for data exchange. The module supports flexible SATA and NVMe storage options, while onboard TPM 2.0 enhances data security through edge encryption.

Equipped with six USB 3.2 and two Ethernet ports for camera and sensor integration, the HPC-RPSC supports real-time analysis of multiple video streams through Intel UHD Graphics 770 and a PEG slot for graphics cards.

The HPC-ADSC module offers a slightly reduced function set compared to the HPC-RPSC. It supports only 12th Generation Intel Core processors, has 10 PCIe slots, provides just one USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 port, has reduced Ethernet functionality through PCIe slots, and offers limited support for advanced graphic cards. The HPC-RPSC is a more powerful and expandable board compared to the HPC-ADSC, featuring support for the latest 13th Generation Intel Core Processors, additional PCIe slots, faster USB ports, and enhanced graphics capabilities.

The COM HPC Client Size C module form factor has mechanical dimensions of 160mm (length) x 120mm (width).

The key features of the HPC-RPSC and HPC-ADSC make them ideal for performance-intensive applications such as test equipment, edge AI servers, and remote monitoring systems. The new AAEON HPC-RPSC and HPC-ADSC COM-HPC modules are now available from Review Display Systems.
