Process software enables precise, low-defect assembly
Aegis Software has announced that it will demonstrate the company's FactoryLogix manufacturing operations solution at the Aerocon and IPC APEX shows, scheduled resprectively for 10th to 12th February in Anaheim, and 24th to 26th February in San Diego, California. Visitors will see how FactoryLogix enables aerospace manufacturers to increase capacity while delivering complex, precise, to-order assemblies with low defects.
FactoryLogix is an integrated suite of modules and devices designed to improve every aspect of manufacturing operations. System functionality spans product introductions, factory-wide material management, shop floor MES, real-time operational dashboards, and historical reporting.
Aegis’ flagship software is specifically designed to speed product launches while providing complete control over complex automated and manual production of discrete assemblies and sub-assemblies, all while delivering total visibility into the entire manufacturing process.
FactoryLogix seamlessly connects with existing ERP and other third-party systems, and the software’s deep integration with product design data, provides process engineers, line operators, and quality managers with a CAD-driven visualisation of each part or component used in production and testing.
This rich, granular manufacturing detail allows FactoryLogix to deliver a level of product and process traceability not possible in other enterprise MES systems, helping aerospace manufacturers meet burdensome regulatory requirements.
“Our aerospace customers are under growing pressure to escalate throughput of increasingly complex assemblies, while also maintaining incredibly high quality standards,” commented Paul Price, Global Vice President, Sales, Aegis. “We are excited to demonstrate our software’s ability to meet these unique, industry-specific challenges at Aerocon next week”.
