Optimization of power consumption in embedded systems with PowerScale – honored with the embedded AWARD 2010
At the embedded world 2010 PowerScale from Hitex has received the embedded AWARD 2010 as especially innovative product. It is the first time a company has been honored with this prestigious award in the “tools” category for the second time.
PoweWith PowerScale current and voltage can be measured at up to 4 power domains in parallel. The ACM technology allows error-free current measurements from 200nA to 1A. The measurements can be set in reference to selected events of the application by an additional linking to the microcontroller. This is the only way to optimize the software for the most economical use of energy in different areas.
Thanks to PowerScale’s intelligent scoring methods not only the consumption of the embedded system can be optimized but also a reduction of the power supply can be achieved. This makes PowerScale unique and optimal for future challenges concerning power consumption.
