MDSL announces MDSL Smart TEM - a new approach to Telecom Expense Management

MDSL, announced the next version of its market-leading TEM software suite, MDSL Smart TEM. The new release marks the end of an extensive market research programme and incorporates customer feedback over the last 6 months from user groups held around the world. Key changes to the user interface make it significantly easier for the user to find and manage information. New risk management and optimisation tools simplify tasks for administrators, while a new open-API platform enables seamless integration with both internal IT infrastructures and adjacent management products from third party vendors.

Ben Mendoza, MDSL CEO, said: “This new version marks a major new way of delivering TEM. We are looking to transform the way telecom expense management is implemented within the enterprise: first, by making information much easier to access and action and, second, by making it tightly integrated and conformant with the customer’s existing internal IT systems and practices. MDSL Smart TEM becomes another key component of their IT shared services environment.”

He continued: “This is very good news for or both our users and our channel partners. It dramatically simplifies the process of implementing a TEM solution within the organisation, and puts TEM at the very centre of the customer’s shared service provision”.

MDSL Smart TEM is scheduled for release in February 2012.
