AAEON Announces IMBM-H61A and IMBM-H61B Micro-ATX Industrial Motherboards with 2nd and 3rd Generation Intel Core i-Series Processors
AAEON today announced the IMBM-H61A and IMBM-H61B Micro-ATX Industrial Motherboards with support for both 2nd and 3rd Generation Intel Core i7/i5/i3 processors with onboard Intel H61 chipset. The IMBM-H61A features one VGA , one DVI one Dual Channel LVDS port and one PCI expansion slot, whereas the IMBM-H61B offers two VGA, and one LVDS for dual independent displays and two PCI expansion slots.
In aRobust connectivity and scalability
“These powerful boards offer industry leading components in a configuration that offers scalability and high performance for applications where longevity, optimum connectivity and reliability are critical, such in ATMs, and the rapidly growing self-service kiosk industry,” says Chelsea Lee, Product Manager of AAEON’s Industrial PC Division.
For enhanced connectivity with peripheral devices, the IMBM-H61A/ B offer eight USB2.0 (4 ports on the rear I/O coastline), an 8-bit Digital I/O interface and two onboard Gigabit Ethernet ports with Wake-On-LAN. Storage is supplied via three SATA 3.0Gb/s and optional onboard CFast storage card with improved, unmatched read/write performance over traditional CF Card systems, while offering anti-vibration, advanced wear-leveling and low power consumption. Both motherboards support up to 16GB of DDR3 1333/1600MHz system memory, status monitoring and a programmable watchdog timer for added system security. The Intel H61 Express Chipset offers scalability and cost optimization solutions to system integrators and enhances the IMBM-H61A/ B Micro-ATX motherboard’s excellent value/performance advantages. In addition, the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator engine enables rich multimedia content to be displayed at Full HD resolutions via compatible display types.

A powerful and fast energy saver
Utilizing the latest 3rd Generation Intel Core i7/i5/i3 processors offers many improvements in lower power consumption over their predecessors. These lower power, energy efficient multi-core Intel processors operate within estimated 17-45 watts range with active workload monitoring capability and power gating to significantly reduce average energy consumption, when possible.
IMBM-H61A/B supports most common operating systems such as Windows XP, Windows 7 and Linux Fedora.
