IAR Systems to showcase products for wireless System Development at ESC
IAR Systems will use the Embedded Systems Conference (ESC), in San Jose, California, as a stage on which to present its embedded tools for wireless system development. IAR Systems has partnered with microcontroller manufacturers Atmel and Texas Instruments to provide visitors to the show with working examples of how its hardware and software development tools for can be utilized in wireless applications. IAR Embedded Workbench is an independent development environment that now supports over 20 microcontroller architectures. Wireless applications demand compact code so that both application and communication stacks can be accommodated in the system memory.
“W“IAR Systems is now in a position to support a broad range of components and platforms for wireless applications based on specifications and standards such as Zigbee Simplicity and RFID. In nearly all these cases the code must not only be very compact but must be able to execute fast enough to adequately conserve power,” Lifvendahl confirms.
