Industrial Grade Fanless Embedded System Supporting Wide Temperature/Voltage Range

The fanless embedded system supports -20°C ~ 70°C temperature suitable for users who require reliable operation in harsh environments that have uncontrolled climates. The voltage range from 9V to 36V accepts most of the popular AC adapters making it suitable for IVI applications.



The EC200 T series, designed for factory floor environments, utilizes passive cooling, anti-shock drive bay mounting, and ruggedized cable-free board assembly to protect against system failure.



All configurations feature fanless cooling with a 1.8GHz dual core Intel Atom D525 processor and Intel ICH8M I/O controller hub requiring only 15.4 watts maximum power. The integrated Intel GMA 3150 graphics accelerator with DX9.0C and OpenGL 1.4 compliance supports dual-independent display capability via the DVI and VGA display interfaces.



Systems can be configured with up to 4GB DDR3 800MHz memory, 8 USB 2.0 ports, 10 RS232/422/485 serial ports, 16 GPIO for device controls, and 2 PCIe/PCI expansion slots. A separate Mini PCIe slot supports wireless connectivity using an optional Wi-Fi card and two front mounted antennas. The wide variety of I/O modules and riser cards enables DFI to offer different off-the-shelf models, insuring a wide-range of quick-turn system assemblies for our distributors, integrators and OEM customers.



This low-power industrial system is ideal for applications requiring a stable revision-controlled platform with flexible system configuration, such as industrial control, factory floor automation, power generation, and building automation.
