Intel Atom Dual Core Fanless Box Embedded Computer from AXIOMTEK
Axiomtek has unveiled the new eBOX621-801-FL, a fanless embedded box system incorporating a dual core Intel Atom processor D525 1.8 GHz with Intel ICH8M chipset. Its wide operating temperature range of -10°C to +55°C and wide range power input of 9 ~ 34VDC make it a reliable computing embedded box solution to facilitate various embedded applications such as transportation, POS, kiosk, industrial control automation and medical equipment applications.
“WThis compact unit is IP40-rated and has a rugged aluminum cold-rolled steel enclosure protecting it from vibration and enduring up to 2Grms (with CF). To withstand extreme working temperatures and harsh environments, its fanless operation design has a unique thermal solution that allows it to operate noiseless at temperatures ranging from -10°C to +55°C. The AtomTM powered embedded platform delivers high-bandwidth expansion capability with one PCI Express Mini Card slots (USB+PCI Express signal) and one internal USB WiFi mounting space for system configurations such as GPS, GSM/GPRS, WiFi, WiMAX, Bluetooth, HSDPA and more.
Axiomtek eBOX621-801-FL has one 204-pin DDR3-800 SO-DIMM system memory max. up to 4 GB. The powerful storage interfaces includes a 2.5” SATA hard disk drive bay and a CompactFlashTM slot for solid state disk system. Its rich I/O connections include four high-speed USB 2.0 ports, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, three COM ports (one RS-232/422/485, two RS-232), VGA, audio as well as a built-in Watchdog Timer to reset the system after a sudden crashes or system errors.
