DSEI 2019: Rugged video system boasts new technology
Highlighting its range of rugged video system management solutions at DSEI, Curtiss-Wright is demonstrating how its “building block” products can be used to develop an integrated video system. The demo features two rugged touchscreen LCD mission displays, multiple video gateway switches, and the VRDV7000 Dual Channel HD Video Recorder.
The rugged mission displays offers a combination of new technology, including optically-bonded glass and dual mode NVIS-compatible LED backlighting, and a rich feature set including a highly flexible video input capability and touchscreen over USB support.
These rugged video management systems provide comprehensive video conversion and distribution solutions that simplify the routing of multiple video signals on ground and airborne platforms.
Video gateways, such as the new RVG-MS1 Multi-Sensor Video Gateway, can receive and process a platform’s sensor signals and then output them to a mission display, enabling operators to simultaneously view multiple sensor feeds, in different configurations, at the touch of a single button.
