CTX to present cooling solutions at embedded world
CTX will present its high-performance cooling solutions for IPCs and embedded systems at this edition of embedded world.
From 11-13 March, the embedded industry will converge on Nuremberg. Visitors to CTX's stand can learn how it supports the industry with customised passive and active cooling solutions in the development of more powerful computer systems.
CTX offers one of the largest heat sink portfolios in Europe. This makes it possible for the company to design cooling solutions that are tailored to the requirements of thermal dissipation, installation space, and ambient conditions, ensuring a long service life. At embedded world, the focus will be on powerful cooling concepts such as those used in IPcs and embedded systems.
Due to the intense heat generated by these high-performance systems, cooling should ideally take place right at the hot spot. To achieve this, CTX offers heat spreaders with integrated heat pipes, for example, that transfer the heat from the hot spot to the heat sink. The special pin or fin design of CTX cold forged pin block heat sinks achieves high air flow rates in the systems to be cooled. With cooling electronics housings made of metal, CTX can dissipate the heat from a system without having to install a heat sink that takes up installation space. The advantage is an end product with a very compact design. For active cooling, CTX offers ready-mounted fan units or customised fan solutions.
CTX supports its customers in the development and implementation of the right cooling system for different applications. The company uses various manufacturing processes, from die-casting to extrusion, cold forging, and skived fin production. These processes allow CTX to manufacture the required quantities of heat sinks economically and with the required properties.
