The fanless design also makes CAPA830 more reliable and stable, without dust or noise issues. One DDR3 SO-DIMM on board implements up to 4GB of system memory. In addition to rich onboard I/Os, the CAPA830 adopts a ZIO connector on the rear-side that integrates PCIe x1, USB, LPC and SMbus expansion. Axiomtek’s innovative ZIO extension form factor to extend multiple I/O helps system integrators to provide optimized solutions in a more cost-effective way. The outstanding CAPA830 offers an excellent balance between high performance and power-saving for space-limited and thermally constrained embedded applications.

Axiomtek’s CAPA830 comes with advanced connectivity including two COM ports (RS-232, RS232/422/485; up to six ports with AX93292 ZIO module), six USB 2.0, two Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI, LVDS, VGA, HD audio, SATA-300, CFast, Digital I/O, ZIO connector, and PCI Express Mini card. The built-in Watchdog Timer keeps system running smoothly. The platform runs well with Windows 7 operating systems.
