Broadcom powers world's fastest home WiFi router from NETGEAR

The average household is expected to own roughly 50 Internet-connected devices by 2022, up from approximately 10 today¹. Broadcom's 5G WiFi XStream technology, with SmartConnect software, automatically ensures that 802.11ac devices in the home are not sharing airtime with slower WiFi devices. This process essentially doubles the performance of all devices in the network. NETGEAR's Nighthawk X6 leverages this technology to balance network load, ensuring the best performance for each device.
