Huawei Selects Broadcom's Small Cell Baseband Processor Technology
Broadcom Corporation today announced that Huawei has chosen Broadcom's Small Cell Baseband Processor family of solutions for WCDMA small cell access point deployments. Huawei chose Broadcom's solution for its advanced performance, while lowering power and costs, to accelerate the deployment of small cells.
HuawWith a large number of E2E deployments in the field, Huawei is a technology leader supporting advanced features such as HetNet, zero touch installation for easy deployment and SON/Self-configuration. Those advanced features are supported by Broadcom's BCM61670 family.
