Axiomtek STX88831 - Ultra Low Power Intel Atom STX SoM Meets Customized Demands and Time-to-Market
Axiomtek’s new STX88831 STX SoM integrates a high-performance, low-power 1.6GHz Intel® Atom™ processor N270 with Intel® 945GSE and ICH7M chipsets, delivering best performance-per-watt for communication, healthcare, automation, and transportation applications. The Mobile Intel® 945GSE Express chipset integrates an Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 950 that delivers powerful graphics performance with dual-view displays: VGA and LVDS/TTL interfaces.
The “This great standard Intel® Atom™ processor N270 STX SoM, a cost-effective and highly scalable embedded solution, offers our customer fast time-to-market with reduced development cost, said Joseph Chou, Product Manager of Embedded Board and Technology Business Unit. “The four PCI and one 16-bit ISA expansion buses on its STX-compliant interface maximize the flexibility of system development. Multiple displays are supported by a LVDS/TTL interface and VGA port interface. This solution is highly beneficial for any application that requires the need for expansion and graphics-oriented.”
The STX88831 also features rich I/O interfaces, including one SATA, four USB 2.0, one Fast Ethernet, VGA, 18/24-bit LVDS, 24-bit TTL LCD, AC-link audio, PS/2 keyboard/mouse port, 2 UARTs ports, FDD, LPT port, and IrDA interface (optional). Moreover, the STX module supports Windows® 7, Windows® Vista, Windows® XP, Windows® Embedded Standard, Windows® XPe, Windows® CE, Linux as well as QNX.
