Inelco Hunter has announced the immediate availability of two high-speed, ultra-low-profile printer mechanisms.

The FTP-62GMCL173 measures 76.2mm(w) x 20.4mm(d) x 36.3mm(h), while the FTP-62GMCL473 printer measures 80.5mm(w) x 34.8mm(d) x 45.6mm(h).

The units feature high-resolution, clear printing from the 8 dots/mm head. They print on 2” wide paper at high speed: 200 mm/1,600 dot lines per second at 24VDC power supply, and 120 mm/96 dot lines per second at a maximum power supply of 12VDC.

Operating and maintaining both printers is easy. A rear paper insertion mechanism (proprietary platen release mechanism) allows for a straight paper path and hassle-free head maintenance. The rugged metal frame provides excellent ESD performance, whilst acting as a heat sink, allowing for continuous printing operations, and offering resistance to shocks and vibrations.

The printers are UL recognised, file # E171434 and are RoHS compliant. They come with a factory-mounted full or partial auto-cutter. An optional ultra-low profile auto cutter (full/partial cut) can be specified, mounted at the factory. Applications can include POS/ECR, kiosk terminals, ticket machines, label printing, bank machines, measuring devices, medical equipment, and more.

Inelco Hunter's in-depth engineering support ensures rapid implementation, speeding up the customer’s time-to-market, and Inelco Hunter's engineers will work with the SME engineers. This added-value support is at the core of Inelco Hunter’s philosophy, and has been for the last 30 years, setting them apart from the "stock and ship" distributors.
