Flexible selective solder module at SMT Nuremberg
Kurtz Ersa North America has announced plans to exhibit the VERSAFLEX-Ultra selective solder module at the upcoming SMT/Hybrid/Packaging show, to be held May 16-18 in Nuremberg. The VERSAFLEX-Ultra selective solder module features two solder pots, either y- and x-variable or z-variable, equipped with different solder and different solder nozzles.
The soldering pots are able to move freely in x-, y- and z-direction. Each soldering pot is completely independent and has no y- or x-dependencies to the other one. Anti-collision software ensures the free movement of the servo-driven axis system of the soldering pots.
Rainer Krauss, Vice President of Kurtz Ersa commented, “The VERSAFLEX is taking selective solderirng to the next level of automation. This innovation is a direct result of the high demands and stringent requirements from our customers. The VERSAFLEX-Ultra demonstrates that, once again, Ersa is developing equipment to meet the needs of our customers and setting the standard of excellence for selective soldering machines.“
