Exhibition showcases all aspects of the printed electronics industry
LOPEC, International Exhibition and Conference for the printed electronics industry, will take place in Munich, Germany, during March 2019. It will be the 11th time that LOPEC has been staged. The two-day exhibition (March 20 to 21) and three-day conference (March 19–21) will provide show attendees and conference delegates with the best opportunity to keep abreast of all the latest technology and business developments this important technology sector has to offer.
From OLEDs in vehicles to the smart packaging of medicines,LOPEC covers the entire value chain – from research and materials development to production equipment and specific applications. With a wide-ranging exhibition and conference program, LOPEC not only targets current users but also representatives of all sectors and industries that want to increase their competitiveness with the aid of printed electronics.
The automotive, pharmaceutical and sports industries are major users of printed electronics and many examples of how they are using this exciting technology will be on display in the exhibition.

The LOPEC 2019 international conference will present around 200 conference papers with speakers from many different countries. The LOPEC Conference is the leading communications platform for research, information and solutions in the printed electronics industry. The conference presentations are tailored exactly to meet the varying interests of delegates. The conference program starts daily with experts discussing the key issues of the industry in the Plenary Sessions. The Business Conference focuses on business strategies, market analyses, and business models. The Technical Conference is geared towards industry and applications and the Scientific Conference offers a forum for scientists to discuss the latest concepts as well as the results of their research.
Around 2,500 participants from 51 countries attended the tenth edition of the international exhibition for printed electronics. Besides Germany, the leading visitor countries were Austria, Great Britain, Switzerland and France. According to the independent participant survey conducted by Gelszus Messe-Marktforschung, LOPEC received top marks. 97 percent of the respondents rated LOPEC as overall excellent to good. In addition, 76 percent of the participants stated that they wanted to visit LOPEC 2019 (as compared to 64 percent in 2017). The 153 exhibitors came from 21 countries. 51 percent came from abroad. The exhibition space increased by six percent compared with the previous year.
