PU resin selected for car park sensor application
Smart Cities are rapidly evolving and sensor technology plays a vast role in the new IoT revolution that’s unfolding before us. Electrolube has collaborated with a customer on a new car park sensor application for its PU resin. In this particular application, sensor technology is used to direct drivers to available parking spots, highlighting empty spaces on maps and offering directions to them.
Honeycomb cores with NORYL GTX deliver heat performance
EconCore has developed new honeycomb cores for laminated sandwich panels made with SABIC’s NORYL GTX resin, a polyphenylene ether (PPE) blend, and EconCore’s proprietary technology. The new honeycomb core presents higher heat performance, better dimensional stability and lower water absorption compared to honeycomb structures made with traditional thermoplastics.
Calibration of 2K conformal coatings demonstrated
In response to ever increasing performance challenges, Electrolube has developed a new generation of two-part 2K conformal coatings to provide even greater protection. 2K coatings match the protection offered by an encapsulation resin with the easy application of a coating and have been rigorously tested in a variety of harsh tests, including thermal shock, powered salt-spray, condensation and mixed flowing gas (MFG) testing, with unprecedented r...
QuoteCQ integrates with Stackrate to enhance PCB quoting
An integration between QuoteCQ, the RFQ management system from CalcuQuote, designed for Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) contract manufacturers, and Stackrate, a PCB fab manufacturing software product by Germany based company, Electronic Fellows.
Powerful UV curing lamp for clean rooms launched
DELO curing lamps feature a modular design and can be adapted to customer-specific requirements. One example is the DELOLUX 203 UV area lamp, which DELO has designed for a supplier of equipment and process solutions to the semiconductor industry for use in clean rooms. The lamp is based on the already proven DELOLUX 20, but works with water cooling instead of air cooling.
Technomelt low pressure moulding encapsulation demands
Henkel’s low pressure moulding technology for encapsulating electrical and electronic components in its Technomelt polyamide adhesive moulding compounds is increasingly being adopted for medical, electronic components, power and industrial automation, HVAC and lighting applications.
Analytical innovation with advanced ceramic heaters
Advanced ceramic heaters offer numerous benefits in the design of analytical equipment. Many of the heaters used in industry today are metal sheathed, a long-standing technology that has been available for over 30 years.
Hakko’s solder stations stand the test of time
Hakko has always taken pride in the build quality of its vast product range. The company manufactures soldering, de-soldering, PCB rework, smoke and fume extraction equipment and related accessories for major global electronics and industrial manufacturers across all sectors.
Fast and highly durable plastics bonding
New plastics bonding technology is bringing significant benefits to the assembly of products requiring multi-material and multi-substrate bonds with stringent performance criteria. The technical complexity of the application can often constrain the manufacturer’s ability to boost productivity to meet increased product demand but a new, patented hybrid technology is allowing many to address these issues.
