Recognising the demand for ever shorter development cycles Review Display Systems Ltd have joined forces with Taiwan based TechNexion to deliver a complete range of flexible ARM based systems that are built around a highly optimized CPU “System On Module”(SOM) into the UK industrial market.
Included in this capability is a complete software stack that gives to a quick and easy way to configure the boards and I/O baseboards to meet your applications requirements or if needs be to design your own baseboard to fit the application.

The SOM CPU boards are offered using three configurations including the TAO -3530 which features the TI OMP 3530 600MHz ARM Cortex –A8, integrated DSP and POWERVR SGX530 for 2D and 3D graphics acceleration, the TAM-3517 featuring the TI Sitara AM3517 600 MHz again with the POWERVR SGX and the TDM-3730 with the TI Sitara DM3730 1GHz and the POWERVR SGX530.

Each of these SOM CPU modules are supported with at least one standard I/O base board allowing quick and easy evaluation of the I/O available, these can be used as designed or the open files are available to allow a quick and simple redesign to fit your application.

TechNexion’s standard software support is available for WindowsCE ,BSP with source code and configuration scripts for the development kits, Linux 2.6.x with binary test images and full source code of x-loader, u-boot, kernel and support packages are available and Android.

Evaluation kits are available for each SOM, with I/O board, together with a range of integrated display and touch options allowing a plug and play approach to system design.
