SFF box PC offers quad-core processing power
The LEC-7338, running on Intel Celeron J1900, is a SFF box PC that offers quad-core processing power, dual 2.5" HDD/SSD drive bays (RAID 0/1) and a generous I/O interface for video-heavy commercial applications such as physical security and retail surveillance.
Intel's Bay Trail SoC is known for its improved computing performance and optimised power efficiency. Benchmark tests conducted for processor performance and power consumption show that the Intel Celeron J1900 CPU outperforms its predecessor (Intel Atom N2800) by 310% while maintaining the same level of power efficiency.
In addition to the powerful and nimble CPU, the LEC-7338’s notable features include its eight POE 10/100Mbps Ethernet switch ports, two 100/1000Mbps Ethernet port, two RS-232/485 COM ports, high speed USB 3.0, digital I/O and HDMI video-out. Also built in are support for up to 8GB of DDR3L 1333MHz memory and a full-sized mini-PCIe with SIM card reader.
All in all, the LEC-7338’s Intel Celeron J1900 processor, compact form factor (272x44x164.4mm) and flexible I/O interface make it one of the most versatile and robust box PCs for commercial surveillance application scenarios.
