Septentrio expands GNSS receiver module family
Septentrio is extending its mosaic family of GNSS receiver modules with the mosaic-G5 receiver range.
These new modules will broaden the range of applications powered by Septentrio technology as they offer a size reduction of 60% and a power consumption reduction of 40% compared with the mosaic-X5 receiver.
This significant reduction of size, weight and power is offered without compromising the high performance standards. It opens potential to reliable, high-accuracy positioning for deviecs that require components with minimal size, weight or power, which counts commercial UAVs, compact industrial robots, high-performance hand-held devices and high-volume compact professional equipment among its ranks.
“The growing world of interconnected devices, robotics and autonomous systems drives the demand for receivers that deliver compact, low-power, yet highly reliable positioning, even in the most challenging environments," said Jan van Hees, Vice President of Business Development, Septentrio. "We are excited about announcing an extension to our mosaic family with the mosaic-G5 receiver range. This introduction emphasises Septentrio’s commitment to continuous innovation and providing high-precision positioning to an ever-expanding array of industrial and professional applications."
The mosaic-G5 series will join the mosaic portfolio of module receivers, which offer all-band GNSS technology with accuracy, reliability and resilience to GNSS jamming and spoofing.
